Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Picnic
We are holding a special Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Picnic on the car park of the Holden Arms pub on Friday 3rd June starting at 11am and finishing around 4pm. The plan is to enjoy summer sun at this outdoor event and the Holden Arms pub will welcome us all if the weather isn’t playing ball!
Everyone is Welcome!
We have lots of exciting activities to entertain the whole family.
You can bring your own picnic or pre-order a Ready made Picnic Box from the Holden Arms. There will be picnic tables and chairs set up or you can bring your own blanket and chairs if you prefer.
This is a Community and Family event with entertainment for the whole family!
We need volunteers who will be able to help with providing entertainment. We also need Raffle Prize donations. Please comment or Message me if you would like to volunteer to support this event or if you would like further information about the community action happening in Grane Residents Association. We are not just a group for Grane Residents. We are keen to bring together residents of Helmshore, Haslingden and Grane - in fact, anyone who Loves our area and especially values the countryside environment we live in. We are inclusive and embrace the amazing diversity of awesome people who live in this part of the beautiful Rossendale Valley. Our aim is to help maintain that beautiful environment for future generations.
Please keep on eye out for future posts with more information about this event and the exciting developments happening within Grane Residents Association - GRASS. We are a Community Action Group and our ethos is all about Neighbours looking after each other and the Neighbourhood!
Come along and Celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee with us!
