Proposed Industrial Estate in Belthorn
We have been approached by save our green fields and rural community, they are a group campaign based at Belthorn.
Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council are currently in their local plan development stage, and one proposal is for the release of 90 plus acres of land at Belthorn for a commercial / industrial estate, similar to those at Shadsworth and at Whitebirk.
GRAss are concerned that this development will lead to an intensification of traffic flow along Grane Road, and as an association propose to write to BWDBC to alert them to our concerns in this regard.
